Health care professionals, social service providers, organizational leaders and family caregivers from across the region will gather for the symposium “Together We Care: Uniting Families and Professionals Across the Lifespan.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accredited continuing education event, set for Friday, June 26, is dedicated to improving caregiving experiences across the lifespan. Hosted at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha, and also offered via livestream with on-demand access, the symposium invites participants to explore practical, interdisciplinary solutions for caregiving challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is organized by the UNMC College of Nursing\u2019s Continuing interProfessional Development and Innovation (CiPDI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program introduces the guiding framework \u201cWhat is Going on Now\u201d and \u201cWhat to Do Next,\u201d designed to equip attendees with tools to navigate caregiving decisions and develop care plans. Participants will learn how collaborative effort, communication and community connections can transform the caregiving experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through real\u2011world scenarios and interactive discussions, the event will highlight the shared responsibility of clinical teams, leadership and families in building systems that reduce caregiver stress, enhance continuity of care and improve health outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will explore emerging trends \u2014 including the growing presence of youth caregivers, grandparents raising grandchildren and culturally diverse caregiving networks. Participants also can connect with local resources through resource fair sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\u2011person and livestream registration are available, with reduced fees for caregivers and students. Registration closes June 19, and in\u2011person space is limited<\/a>. Eligible professionals may earn 6.25 ANCC contact hours or 6.25 ACE continuing education credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
