The Nebraska Tissue Engineering and Organoid Conference will be held April 17 on the UNMC Omaha campus at the Wigton Heritage Center, Olson Atrium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., will bring together researchers, clinicians and trainees from across the region to discuss such issues as 3D bioprinting, organoids and iPSCs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is sponsored by the Great Plains IDeA-CTR Network, a regional and Nebraska research collaborative housed at UNMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The keynote presentation is by Kevin Healy, PhD, a professor of bioengineering and of materials science and engineering at the University of California Berkeley. Also visiting as speaker is Srivatsan Kidambi, PhD, director of the National Institutes of Health\u2019s Standardized Organoid Modeling Initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The schedule includes scientific sessions highlighting innovative work from UNMC and University of Nebraska-Lincoln investigators, lightning talks and an interactive poster session. See the full conference schedule, including UNMC presenters, at this link.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference also includes dedicated networking sessions to connect attendees by tissue or organ focus, disease area and application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
