The UNMC Out of Darkness Campus Walk, an event to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health resources, will be held Saturday, April 18, at the Ruth & Bill Scott Student Plaza. Registration starts at 10 a.m., and the walk itself will begin at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walk is organized by the UNMC Out of the Darkness Walk Committee student organization and sponsored by UNMC, the UNMC College of Medicine, UNMC College of Nursing, UNMC College of Pharmacy, UNMC College of Public Health and Clarkson College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, which funds programs and research into suicide prevention and supports survivors of suicide loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
