The new site will be&nbsp;available&nbsp;the morning of Tuesday, April 21.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Content&nbsp;of the intranet has been updated as part of the migration project. Some content&nbsp;also has&nbsp;been reorganized. To&nbsp;help with navigating&nbsp;the new site,&nbsp;additional&nbsp;links have been added to the Quick Links list.&nbsp;A Log-in drop-down menu is located in the top right-hand corner.&nbsp;Frequently used links also&nbsp;are located in&nbsp;the footer and in the sidebar of the Quick Links page.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If anyone has difficulty finding content, <a href=\"mailto:stacie.hamel@unmc.edu\">email Stacie Hamel in UNMC Strategic Communications<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IT DevOps team intends to add back a search tool to the intranet sometime in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New tool for document remediation&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A tool has been put in place temporarily on University of Nebraska public websites to provide accessible versions of&nbsp;public&nbsp;PDFs. This tool, DocAccess, is being funded for the next year by the University of Nebraska Office of the President.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With DocAccess in place, a user who opens a&nbsp;public&nbsp;PDF on a university site will have the option of toggling to an accessible HTML version. There also are resources listed in the right-hand sidebar, including a DocAccess number to call for help navigating a PDF.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DocAccess is available only for public pdfs, so it is not available for PDFs on our intranet, in Canvas or SharePoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UNMC mobile app decommissioned<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UNMC mobile app will be decommissioned by April 24 and no longer will be available for download in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The redesign of the UNMC website over the last few years made the site responsive down to the mobile phone size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, separate apps have been introduced for specific services, such as the <a
