Sessions will highlight practical approaches to pediatric pain management for both outpatient and inpatient settings, incorporating pharmacologic and integrative strategies alongside patient and parent education.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The keynote speaker is Jacob AuBuchon, MD, director of pediatric pain management and director of medical student education at St. Louis Children&#8217;s Hospital and associate professor of anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis.\u00a0Dr. AuBuchon will address &#8220;An Interdisciplinary Approach to Chronic Pain.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Management of post-operative surgical pain after pectus excavatum repair and applications of liposomal bupivacaine.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thoracic nerve blocks for pain management.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pain management after surgery: A hospitalist perspective.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peri- and post-operative pain management for bladder exstrophy patients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Nebraska Prescription Drug Monitoring Program.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is&nbsp;required.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing education credits for CME, CNE, pharmacology, DEA MATE and State of Nebraska Opiate Prescriber are pending.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
