The waitlist is open to anyone interested in securing a spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Where the new options are located:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lot 48 \u2014 East of Clarkson Doctors Building South\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The east portion of the lot will be designated for employee parking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The west portion will remain reserved for patient parking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lot 7 \u2014 East of Clarkson Doctors Building North<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EDGE District garage \u2014 Adjacent to the Catalyst building<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All three locations will be available at a monthly rate of $36. <a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/_documents\/parking\/student-parking-map.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Click here to view them on the parking map., opens in a new window\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to view them on the parking map.<\/a> Join the waitlist through the <a href=\"https:\/\/unmcparking.t2hosted.com\/Account\/Portal\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"UNMC Parking Services portal., opens in a new window\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UNMC Parking Services portal.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parking rates for FY27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rates for permitted surface and garage parking will remain the same. The following rates will be updated effective Wednesday, July 1:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The carpool rate will match the standard lot rate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The $3 daily rate (20 hours) will increase to $4.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new 24\/7 rate will be introduced for those who use campus as their primary parking location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carpool renewals begin May 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carpool permit renewals will open today (May 1) and must be completed in person at the UNMC Parking Services office, located on level three of the 4230 Building (Business Service Center at 4230 Leavenworth St.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Victoria Zajac, director of auxiliary services with the UNMC Office of Business and Finance, said all parking decisions are guided by data and informed analysis, ensuring that the office balances and supports the needs of patients, visitors, and employees.
