Tickets are on sale now.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFive extraordinary private gardens are opening their gates for one special day,\u201d said Luann Rabe, Munroe-Meyer Guild member. \u201cEach space reflects the heart of its gardener \u2014&nbsp;unique, spectacular and full of inspiration. Your steps through these hidden gems will provide you with fresh, new ideas and grow your passion for your garden.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proceeds from the Garden Walk have been used to support projects such as innovative virtual reality therapy for children with cerebral palsy; specialized therapy designed to bolster social skills for children on the autism spectrum; job training programs for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and a partnership with a national organization that provides low-cost mobility devices to toddlers facing mobility challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The neighborhoods for this year\u2019s gardens are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candlewood<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heavenly Acres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linden Estates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walnut Ridge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>West Dodge Station<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>About 20 vendors and local artists will be set up at a location near the Candlewood garden.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re featuring a blend of new and returning vendors and artists, each providing art that will bring vibrant color and creativity to your special space,\u201d Rabe said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The family-friendly event will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 14. In past years, the Garden Walk has drawn more than 1,000 spectators to the local gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets cost $25 in advance or $35 when purchased at the gardens on the day of the event. Children under 5 are free. Strollers are not allowed in the gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets can be purchased online at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/app1.unmc.edu\/forms\/mmi\/garden\/\">app1.unmc.edu\/forms\/mmi\/garden<\/a>&nbsp;or in person at Hy-Vee stores, Benson Plant Rescue, Canoyer Garden Center, Indian Creek Nursery, Lanoha Nurseries, Moore\u2019s Nursery, Mulhall\u2019s Nursery, Inc., and Westlake Ace Hardware at 140th and West Center Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
