Sunshine, music and sweet treats — it\u2019s time to celebrate UNMC’s employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNMC will honor its faculty and staff at the quarterly employee appreciation event, “Summer Beats & Cool Treats.” This special gathering will recognize the hard work, commitment and positive impact that UNMC’s employees provide every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will be held Monday, June 1, from 1:30-3 p.m.\u00a0at the Ruth & Bill Scott Student Plaza, offering an afternoon of summer fun featuring live music, refreshing treats from Kona Ice, yard games and time to relax and connect with colleagues. Enjoy a special performance by the University of Nebraska at Omaha Jazz Band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the event of inclement weather, the celebration will be held inside at the UNMC Center for Healthy Living gym.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
