It will be held at the Scott Conference Center in Omaha&#8217;s Aksarben Village from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will provide a variety of health education lectures and a health fair with exhibits from UNMC and Nebraska Medicine departments, clinics and programs.\u202fThe theme of this year\u2019s conference is \u201cStrong Together: Supporting Women Through Knowledge, Care and Connection.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This conference will feature two main sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Breanna Hetland, PhD, with the UNMC College of Nursing, will present on AI in Healthcare.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Priya Gearin, MD, assistant professor in the UNMC Department of Psychiatry, will present on the impact of loneliness across a woman\u2019s lifespan and finding real connections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will have multiple breakout sessions.\u202fBreakout topics will include cardiovascular and women\u2019s health, infertility and pregnancy&nbsp;loss&#8217;s impact on mental health, skin care, trauma informed care and applications within healthcare settings, incontinence, and gynecologic oncology treatment and personalized care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The health fair will be offered in the morning, including optional blood&nbsp;work, for an&nbsp;additional fee.\u202fBlood work options include: Ferritin, vitamin D, comprehensive blood count, comprehensive metabolic&nbsp;panel, lipid panel, glycohemoglobin A1C and thyroid stimulating hormone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference is hosted by the Olson Center for Women\u2019s Health, UNMC and Nebraska Medicine.\u202fContinuing education will be provided for nurses and social workers.\u202fRegistration fees are $75 for the general public and $110 for nurses and social workers.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Registration closes on Friday, Oct. 9.\u202fThere is no virtual component for the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information about the
