Awardees demonstrate how they have incorporated their experiences into their personal goals, perspectives and values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recipients of this award are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kari Shad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Will Srinivasan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Community Service-Learning Engagement Award is presented to individuals who exhibit active leadership in service learning with clear vision, innovation and creativity. Awardees demonstrate strong initiative with a clear impact, motivate others and demonstrate a high standard of integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recipients of this award are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alexander Klementiev<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ayush Chataut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Denise Torres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holland Stevenson<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Michaela Bartels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peter Maxwell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trenten Theis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLeadership is one of the hallmarks of the successful physician,\u201d said Bradley Britigan, MD, dean of the UNMC College of Medicine. \u201cOn behalf of the UNMC College of Medicine, it is my privilege to extend our warmest congratulations to these students for their achievements.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe selection committee was impressed by the students\u2019 applications and dedication to Community Service- Learning,\u201d said Lindsey Holmes of the Office of Medical Education. \u201cThe students\u2019 hard work, passion, and perseverance have not only inspired the College of Medicine but also have made a positive difference
