Kristin Kohler, DDS, has been named director of predoctoral pediatrics in the UNMC Department of Growth and Development at the UNMC College of Dentistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Dr. Kohler is a 1996 graduate of the UNMC College of Dentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Denver, where she also competed as a gymnast. Her interest in pediatric dentistry began early, spending summers working in her father\u2019s pediatric dental practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited to bring my private practice and business experience to the dental students and residents at the UNMC College of Dentistry,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Kohler completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University, earning her certificate through clinical training at Children\u2019s Hospital, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Baylor College of Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She has been caring for children as a pediatric dentist since 1998 and owns Lincolnshire Pediatric Dentistry in Lincoln.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
