I\u2019d like to congratulate our participants, the students who submitted the top five abstracts and thank our dedicated faculty mentors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The top five abstracts were determined by the Extracurricular Program Oversight Committee.&nbsp;The top five students, their faculty advisers and the titles of their abstracts are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ben Stangl,<\/strong> Skye Kusler, mentor Shaheed Merani, MD, PhD: \u201cThe effect of donor age on post-transplant graft outcomes in donation after circulatory death liver transplantation when using normothermic regional perfusion.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/11\/Ben-Stangl-MSSRP-abstract-final.pdf\">See abstract<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Noah L.
