Do you find yourself wondering if you know all the right pieces? If you do, this training opportunity is for you. <\/p>\n<p>Sponsored Programs Administration and the Office of Budget and Analysis are co-hosting &#8220;hands-on&#8221; training sessions about the mysteries contained in the new NIH forms. To unravel the mystery, attend the Sept. 19 campus training session.<\/p>\n<p>The NIH began requiring the use of new forms Jan. 1. September&#8217;s informational training sessions are designed to:<\/p>\n<p><UL><LI>Reveal buried secrets of new NIH forms;<br \/>\n<LI>Reduce anxiety of cost accounting standards;<br \/>\n<LI>Disclose inside information on how SPA reviews grants;<br \/>\n<LI>Discover new keys to NIH guidelines;<br \/>\n<LI>Unravel clues to complete new NIH forms; and<br \/>\n<LI>Dispel the mystery of Facilities and Administration (F&#038;A) costs (previously known as indirect costs).<\/UL><\/p>\n<p>To accommodate as many people as possible, participants can choose to attend a morning (9 to 11 a.m.) or afternoon (1 to 3 p.m.) session in the Eppley Science Amphitheater. Complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/app1.unmc.edu\/workshop\/reg091902.cfm\n\">online form<\/a> by Sept. 9 to register.
