UNMC faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend the Tuesday, Oct. 22, employee roundtable session, which will focus on health care access and involve a discussion with University Medical Associates about how to improve service and accessibility to healthcare providers on campus. \"picture <\/p>\n

Tuesday’s employee roundtable is the first in a series being co-sponsored by Human Resources and Public Affairs. The roundtable events will provide employees the opportunity to discuss a variety of issues or topics of importance to the UNMC community. <\/p>\n

“The topic for this session was based on feedback at a Chancellor’s forum last spring where multiple concerns were raised about the difficulty of accessing healthcare on campus,” said Jane Harris, director, employee relations, Human Resources.<\/p>\n

UMA is working to become the healthcare provider of choice for UNMC employees and is interested in hearing what they can do to attract and retain employee and their families as patients, Harris said.<\/p>\n

“To accomplish this, UMA needs to hear the challenges employees face and the concerns they have in a constructive and productive format,” she said. <\/p>\n
