Nebraska Lt. Gov. Dave Heineman told UNMC College of Pharmacy students this week that they are the future leaders of “our state and our country.”<\/p>\n

“We need your leadership,” Heineman said. “Young and old alike, we’re going to count on you.”<\/p>\n

Heineman was on campus Monday. About 100 students attended a forum featuring Heineman and U.S. Rep. Lee Terry. Both Heineman and Terry offered brief remarks and then answered student questions.<\/p>\n

As part of his remarks, Heineman read a proclamation from Gov. Mike Johanns, which recognized National Pharmacy Week and the importance of pharmacists’ work as health-care providers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
