UNMC policies exist because they are required, as policy, by<\/p>\n<p><UL><LI>a regulatory agency, commission, or accrediting body,<br \/>\n<LI>federal, state, or local statute,<br \/>\n<LI>regental or executive action,<br \/>\n<LI>campus-wide UNMC decision concerning everyone&#8217;s obligations and boundaries within UNMC.<\/UL><\/p>\n<p>The following new or revised UNMC policies take effect today (Oct. 25):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/leave.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 1001Employee Leave<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy Nos. 1000, 1024, 1030, 1032, 1033, 1034, 1038, 1040, 1042, 1044, and 1046, all issued on or before June 1, 1998.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/reduction.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 1028Reduction-in-Force<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy No. 1028, issued on July 1, 1991.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/employee_scholarship.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 1072Employee and Dependent Scholarship<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy No. 1072, issued on Nov. 03, 1992.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/recogn&#038;reward.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 1093Employee Recognition and Reward<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy No. 1093, issued on Jan. 21, 2000.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/perfmgmt_3_26.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 1098Performance Management<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy No. 1098 dated May, 15, 2001.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/gao.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 3000General Accounting<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy No. 3000, issued on July 1, 1998.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/Supplemental_Comp.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 3039Supplemental Compensation Plan<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy No. 3039, issued on Jan. 19, 1989.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/confidentiality.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 6045Privacy, Confidentiality and Information Security<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy Nos. 1006 and 6045, both issued on Nov. 5, 1996 or earlier.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/info.unmc.edu\/policy\/indirect_cost.htm\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">No. 6101Indirect Cost<\/a> <br \/>This policy replaces UNMC Policy No. 6101, issued on June 27, 2002.<\/p>\n<p>All new and revised policies and related procedures with an effective date of July 1998 or later are available online.
