When complete, the total length of the connector will be 169 feet and will connect Level 3 of Swanson Hall to Level 2 of the Durham Research Center. <\/p>\n<p>The connector will have stairs next to the Durham Research Center auditorium and also will lead to the main elevators to go to Level 1. The recently installed steel structure is 11 feet, 6 inches high and 20-plus feet above the street level. The finished height inside of the connector will be 8 feet.
