Chuck Durham, John Wilson and Fred Petersen will be honored during a tailgate party for employees, students and volunteers. <\/p>\n<p>Durham is the former chairman of HDR Inc., an architectural, engineering design and consulting firm. He now is chairman of Durham Resources. <\/p>\n<p>Wilson is the president of Durham Resources. Peterson is the president and chief executive officer of OPPD.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;d like to thank Chuck Durham, Fred Peterson and John Wilson for this truly wonderful gift to UNMC,&#8221; UNMC Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., said. &#8220;This structure provides needed parking congestion relief for our employees, and it will allow us to strategically grow and beautify our campus in areas where ground-level parking lots now exist.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The party and reception will take place on the structure&#8217;s top level, Level D. If it rains, the tailgate party and program will take place on the Emile Street level, Level B. Tailgating will begin at 1:30 p.m., and beverages, cookies and ice cream will be served. Door prizes will be awarded, and a deejay will enliven the celebration with music.
