Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.<\/p>\n<p>Rubens J. Pamies, M.D., is professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and chairman of the department of internal medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. Dr. Pamies will answer questions during the forum. He is one of three finalists for the position of UNMC vice chancellor for academic affairs\/dean for graduate studies.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday&#8217;s forum will be video-linked for two-way conferencing at the following sites: Lincoln, College of Nursing, TC Room 202; Kearney, West Center building, Room 144; and Scottsbluff, College of Nursing, Room 205.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Dr. Pamies, the other two finalists for the vice chancellor\/dean position are David Crouse, Ph.D., the interim vice chancellor for academic affairs\/interim dean for graduate studies at UNMC, and Patricia Sokolove, Ph.D., an associate professor in the department of pharmacology and experimental therapeutics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>William Berndt, Ph.D., retired from the position last year.
