\nIs the organization compliant with the HIPAA regulation?<\/p>\n

Answer<\/b>
\nYES! The organization has implemented and will continue to follow the necessary policies and procedures to be compliant with the HIPAA privacy regulations. Work continues on implementation of the HIPAA security regulations. The federal compliance date for the HIPAA security regulations is April 2005.<\/p>\n

The HIPAA implementation team thanks all members of the organization who have made the implementation of the HIPAA activities successful. A celebration will take place from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, in the courtyard between Swanson Hall and the visitor parking structure.<\/p>\n

If you’re a manager, please ensure all of your employees are informed of the contents of these messages and how it applies to your work area.
