The award recognizes a chapter member who, through his or her service to the organization, has provided leadership, exceeded the expectations of his or her responsibility, or in some significant way, assisted in strengthening the chapter during the year. Bottoms received the award for her contributions to last year&#8217;s holiday gala and this year&#8217;s wine tasting event and for assuming a leadership role to fill a void on the PRSA Board.<\/p>\n<p><b>Scholarship<\/b><br \/>\nBill O&#8217;Neill, UNMC public affairs, was awarded the James W. Leuschen Fellowship, which is given to a member who is furthering his or her education.
