Hulme, Ph.D., assistant professor, family nurse practitioner program, UNMC College of Nursing, and Nebraska representative for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Floreani hired the first nurse practitioner in the pulmonary section of UNMC, and has advocated the hiring of additional nurse practitioners, Dr. Hulme said. He is a highly respected pulmonologist at UNMC, his nominators said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Dr. Floreani was cited as the most frequently requested guest speakers at Nebraska Nurse Practitioner conferences, where he has spoken on numerous occasions. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He is also praised for his collegial relationships with nurse practitioners,&#8221; Dr. Hulme said. &#8220;He is always willing
