All eligible UNMC and University Medical Associates (UMA) employees are encouraged to enroll in SimplyWell, a wellness pilot program, prior to Wednesday, Nov. 24. <\/p>\n

Employees are eligible to participate in the pilot project if they work .5 FTE or more and are enrolled in the university’s Blue Cross\/Blue Shield medical insurance plan. <\/p>\n

All eligible employees are encouraged to participate in the program. Employees who enrolled in the program last year are encouraged to participate again by re-enrolling. There is no cost to employees to participate and participation does not impact an employee’s Blue Cross\/Blue Shield well care dollars. <\/p>\n

Each participant in the SimplyWell program will complete an online health assessment and participate in a health screening. Private, confidential and HIPAA compliant results, identifying personal health risks, are available online. <\/p>\n

Those who enroll will receive a campus user ID and password to login to SimplyWell’s online application and online health assessment. (Note: If you have been visiting the SimplyWell Web site since its launch in July then you will use that user ID and password, you must still, however, contact Shawna Davis so that she can verify eligibility and register you for the 2005 year). <\/p>\n

Health screenings are scheduled this month (see below), as well as posted at www.simplywell.com<\/a>. All interested participants must enroll prior to Wednesday, Nov. 24, in order to attend the last scheduled health screening on Nov. 30. <\/p>\n
