A committee of medical students nominated Dr. Allison, who received his award at the annual AOA banquet on Thursday (March 31).<\/p>\n<p>Faith Fitzgerald, M.D., an internist and professor of medicine and assistant dean of humanities and bioethics at the University of California Davis, Sacramento, was the banquet&#8217;s distinguished visitor.
