The series provides instruction on multi-site clinical trial design, management, monitoring and analysis using the Women&#8217;s Health Initiative as an example. The 10-part series includes presentations by:<\/p>\n<p><UL><br \/>\n<LI>Ross Prentice, principal investigator, Women&#8217;s Health Initiative, Clinical Coordinating Center, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; professor of biostatistics, University of Washington.<\/p>\n<p><LI>Andrea LaCroix, co-principal investigator, Women&#8217;s Health Initiative, Clinical Coordinating Center, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; professor of epidemiology, University of Washington; scientific investigator, Center for Health Studies, Group Health Cooperative.<\/p>\n<p><LI>Garnet Anderson, member of Public Health Sciences Division; co-PI, Women&#8217;s Health Initiative, Clinical Coordinating Center; associate head, Gynecologic Cancer Research Program, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; affiliate associate professor of biostatistics, University of Washington.<\/UL><\/p>\n<p>Beginning Sept. 13, the series will be presented at noon in the Durham Research Center, Room 1004 on consecutive Tuesdays.
