\n<\/TABLE>Fifty-one posters were presented at the 10th annual UNMC Cardiovascular Research Symposium, held Feb. 3 at UNMC.<\/p>\n

Keshore Bidasee, Ph.D., associate professor of pharmacology and experimental neuroscience, earned first-place honors in the basic sciences division. The poster of Saulius Kalvaitis, M.D., house officer IV, internal medicine, was judged as best in the clinical sciences division.<\/p>\n

In all, 80 people attended the symposium, which featured several presentations from UNMC faculty and a keynote address from Donald Helstad, M.D., the Zahn Professor of Internal Medicine and Pharmacology at the University of Iowa.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
