Sorrell Center for Health Science Education site with grass seed to help stabilize the soil and prevent erosion from rain and wind. <\/p>\n<p>The hydro-mulching process, which gave the brown construction hole a festive St. Patrick&#8217;s Day color, allows the seed to bind into the mulch and sit there until it germinates. The process is similar to that used by homeowners when seeding their lawns, said Ron Tietgen of Facilities Management and Planning.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With the right weather, the seed will quickly grow and stabilize the soil,&#8221; Tietgen said. <\/p>\n<p>Construction of the 134,183-square-foot center at the northeast corner of the intersection of 42nd Street and Emile Street, is expected to be completed by the fall of 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Check the progress of the Sorrell Center via the <a href=\"http:\/\/webmedia.unmc.edu\/livewebcam\/\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">construction Web cam.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday, workers sprayed the perimeter of the Michael F.
