Question 3 – This hospital was one of the affiliated hospitals of the College of Medicine and had formerly been the residence of one of our faculty members. What is the name of the hospital and who was the faculty member? <\/b><\/p>\n

\"pictureAnswer 3 <\/b>— This is the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in 1904. It had been the home of Harold Gifford, chairman of ophthalmology from 1898 to 1924. He moved to the Gold Coast neighborhood and donated his former residence to the hospital. Initially, Dr. Gifford and Dr. August Jonas accounted for most of the Methodist Hospital admissions.
