Neihardt&#8217;s book, &#8220;Black Elk Speaks: Being the Life Story of a Holy Man of the Oglala Sioux.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Participants are invited to read the book in advance. The book can be purchased at Joslyn&#8217;s Hitchcock Museum Shop.<\/p>\n<p>A discussion of the book will be held Nov. 16 at noon in room 6 of Clarkson Tower&#8217;s Storz Pavillion. Participants may bring a lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Following the discussion will be a walking tour of the Karl Bodmer American Indian prints located in the Pavillion to discover the thematic links between the book and the works of art on display. <\/p>\n<p>Reservations are suggested.
