\/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE>The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing held induction ceremonies across the state Oct. 8 to recognize 129 new nursing students as they committed to academic integrity and begin assimilating the values and behaviors of the professional nurse.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony reiterated values for the professional nurse and the profession ofnursing: responsibility, trustworthiness, honesty, fairness and respect of others.<\/p>\n<p>Ceremonies were held in Scottsbluff, Kearney, Lincoln and Omaha.<\/p>\n<p>During the ceremony, students recited an oath of professionalism and signed a pledge. <\/p>\n<p>They also received the college&#8217;s patch to be worn on their uniforms. <\/p>\n<p>Receptions attended by the students and their families
