Through the Passport Partners program, the Durham Western Heritage Museum is offering a workshop on basic techniques and products used in object preservation. <\/p>\n

The class is open exclusively to employees and students of UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC Physicians and will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the museum’s Mezzanine Conference Room.<\/p>\n

From important papers and photographs to 3-D artifacts, Durham Western Heritage Museum curator Luis Vasquez will demonstrate first-hand how to care for invaluable family treasures. Attendees are encouraged to bring a personal item to discuss during the workshop. <\/p>\n

Seating is limited and will be available to the first 15 respondents. Please reserve your space today by sending an e-mail to Jill Carson at jlcarson@unmc.edu<\/a>. This workshop is free to UNMC, UNMC Physicians and The Nebraska Medical Center employees and students. <\/p>\n
