That is about $5,000 more than the campus raised during the 2006 campaign. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am thrilled that we were able to surpass our goal,&#8221; said Jill Carson, UNMC&#8217;s United Way campaign manager. <\/p>\n<p>Carson said she was excited to see UNMC employees close out a strong campaign by donating about $10,000 on the final day. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The United Way will truly be able to use our contributions for so many worthwhile causes,&#8221; she said. &#8220;This was a wonderful way to end the campaign!&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>Also Friday, UNMC held its final United Way prize drawing. Here are the results: <\/p>\n<p><UL><br \/>\n<LI>Two Husker football tickets to the Nebraska vs. Kansas State game &#8212; Thomas Grothe, physicians assistant<br \/>\n<LI>$50 gift card to Borsheim&#8217;s &#8212; Giovanni Jones, student services adminstration<br \/>\n<LI>$50 gift card to Target &#8212; Joan Hill, student financial services<br \/>\n<LI>$50 gift card to Target &#8212; John Adams, Ph.D., budget analysis and financial compliance<br \/>\n<LI>$50 gift card to Village Pointe &#8212; Julia McKenzie-Svanda, College of Medicine Dean&#8217;s Office<br \/>\n<LI>$50 gift card to Fantasy&#8217;s Gas Station &#8212; Cheng Wang, Ph.D., obstetrics and gynecology<br \/>\n<LI>$50 gift card to Nebraska Furniture Mart &#8212; Robert Dietrich, architecture and engineering<br
