vaccine will air tonight at 5:30 p.m. CST on KMTV Channel 3 (channel 5 on Cox Cable). <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Rennard and his research also will be featured locally at 5 p.m. on KETV Channel 7 (channel 9 on Cox Cable).<\/p>\n<p>A story about Dr. Rennard&#8217;s research will run in UNMC Today on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Rennard, who in 2006 was named the first UNMC Scientist Laureate, has been a forerunner in smoking cessation research and is deserving of this national recognition, said Tom O&#8217;Connor, senior associate director of public affairs at UNMC. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is great national exposure for UNMC,&#8221; O&#8217;Connor said. &#8220;Dr. Rennard is truly one of our outstanding researchers, and it speaks volumes that CBS sought him out to do this interview.&#8221;<\/p>\n<!-- <a
