The collaboration between medical staff, UNMC Physicians and the hospital was critical to ensure that this goal could be achieved.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The new multi-year agreements cover all commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and transplant contracts and ensure continuity of care for all of medical center patients.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We look forward to continuing our collaboration with UnitedHealthcare and bringing our extraordinary care to more members of our community,&#8221; said Steve Smith, M.D., chief medical officer at The Nebraska Medical Center. &#8220;The Nebraska Medical Center and UNMC Physicians are committed to excellence.
