Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee to feature.<\/p>\n

This week, we feature Donna Vandemark, office associate I for the Rural Health Education Network.<\/p>\n

\n<\/TABLE>Here, in her own words, are five fun facts about Donna:<\/p>\n

  • My husband and I will be celebrating our 50th anniversary next month. For those who said it couldn’t be done — WRONG!<\/p>\n

  • I love kids — we have three grown daughters with mates, nine grandchildren and two great grandkids. <\/p>\n

  • I love family gatherings — birthdays, holidays, picnics, potlucks and weddings. I’ve made wedding cakes for most of the nieces and nephews — makes a pretty good dent in their expenses and I enjoy doing it.<\/p>\n

  • As the oldest of six kids, I learned responsibility, patience, diversion tactics, compromise and the value of a good threat.<\/p>\n

  • I’m participating in a DNA study through a National Geographic program to track my maternal ancestry (my brother is tracking Dad’s side). I look forward to seeing where we REALLY came from.<\/UL><\/p>\n
