Title:<\/B> Associate professor, department of health services research and administration, College of Public Health<\/p>\n

Research and practice:<\/B> Dr. Lin is an expert in geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial statistics and is currently working on developing novel spatial methods for testing and parameterizing spatial patterns that include disease clusters. In addition to his work as a public health researcher and teacher at UNMC, Dr. Lin is a public health practitioner. Dr. Lin practices public health at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Lincoln two days a week. In addition to building GIS analytical capabilities for the DHHS, he works on two projects with state public health practitioners:
