Komen Race For The Cure. <\/p>\n<p>The race will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5 and will take place rain or shine. <\/p>\n<p>Here are the directions for registering online:<br \/>\n<UL><LI>Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.komennebraska.org\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">www.komennebraska.org<\/a>.<br \/>\n<LI>Click on &#8220;Race For The Cure&#8221; at the top of the page.<br \/>\n<LI>Click on &#8220;Join a Team.&#8221;<br \/>\n<LI>Find the team named &#8220;UNMC &amp; The Nebraska Medical Center&#8221; on the drop down menu.<br \/>\n<LI>Select the UNMC\/TNMC team and complete your registration.<br \/>\n<LI>Please list the department you work in in the &#8220;Team Memo&#8221; section. <\/UL><\/p>\n<p>The Race for The Cure benefits the Nebraska affiliate of Susan G. Komen Foundation. <\/p>\n<p>The one-mile Fun Walk begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K Run\/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. <\/p>\n<p>Team registration fees are $20 and team members get a Komen T-shirt and drawing backpack.<\/p>\n<p>Kids 2 and under are free but must register.
