\n<\/TABLE>Michael Boska, Ph.D., vice chairman for research in the department of radiology, will present “Neuroimaging Research: From Mice to Men” on Monday at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.<\/p>\n

During his seminar, Dr. Boska — who also is director of the UNMC Bioimaging Core Facility — will demonstrate some of the advanced neuroimaging and image processing developments underway at UNMC and their application to detection and staging of human neurological disease.<\/p>\n

“As we and others develop more advanced image and image processing methodology, the ability to apply these methods for human use requires a skill set that necessarily exists within our laboratory,” Dr. Boska said. “This is why we are involved in several imaging projects that employ advanced techniques in clinical studies.”<\/p>\n
