\nKen Cowan, M.D., Ph.D., director of the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center, admires cowboy boots signed by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. <\/p>\n

The boots will be auctioned online for this year’s Cattlemen’s Ball, which will be held in Doniphan, Neb., on June 5-6. <\/p>\n

The theme of this year’s ball is “Give Cancer the Boot.” <\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Buffett autographed a pair of boots for auction, adding “I love beef!” to his signature.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gates’ signature is in silver ink on a pair of black Tony Lama cowboy boots.\u00a0The boots were donated by Jeff Vinson of Farmers Insurance Group in memory of his mother, Nancy, who died of cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to the Gates and Buffett boots, other celebrities who have signed boots to be auctioned off include Larry the Cable Guy and Kevin Costner. <\/p>\n
