Locust St.<br \/>\n<LI><B>Holdrege<\/B> &#8212; Phelps Memorial Health Center, lower level conference room, 1215 Tibbals St.<br \/>\n<LI><B>Lincoln<\/B> &#8212; VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System, auditorium, 600 S. 70th St.<br \/>\n<LI><B>Norfolk<\/B> &#8212; Faith Regional Health Services, Medical Office Building West, Madison room, 110 N. 28th St.<br \/>\n<LI><B>Pender<\/B> &#8212; Pender Community Hospital, conference room, 603 Earl St.<br \/>\n<LI><B>Scottsbluff<\/B> &#8212; Regional West Medical Center, South Plaza Room 1202, 4021 Ave. B.<\/UL><br \/>\n<\/P><br \/>\n<\/FONT><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE>Frail elderly and geriatric syndromes are the topics for the next geriatric care conference to be broadcast live via the statewide telehealth network July 16-17. <\/p>\n<p>The two-day conference is targeted to health care professionals and will focus on urinary incontinence, unintentional weight loss and failure to thrive, management of hip fractures, developing a rural geriatric assessment program and palliative care. <\/p>\n<p>The conference is part of an educational series hosted by the Nebraska Geriatric Education Center (NEBGEC) at UNMC. <\/p>\n<p>It will be broadcast from UNMC&#8217;s Durham Research Center to nine sites across the state via the state telehealth network. <\/p>\n<p>Up to 15 contact hours are available for this conference. For more specific contact hour information, visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/cce\" target=\"_blanK\" rel=\"noopener\">Center for Continuing Education Web site<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The registration deadline is July 1 and can be made online at the Web site listed above or by calling (877) 832-6924 or (402) 559-5929.
