\nUNMC’s Office of Government Relations can assist UNMC employees in their applications for state boards and committees.<\/p>\n

The government relations office provides letters of recommendation and other guidance to help employees secure such positions. <\/p>\n

Those interested in applying for a board or committee position should contact Sara Cizek-Going, J.D., in the government relations office at 559-6671 or scizek@unmc.edu<\/a> to start the application process. <\/p>\n

Interested employees should act quickly, though, as the application deadline for many of the current open positions is Aug. 1<\/B>.

The boards provide for the health, safety and welfare of Nebraskans by ensuring that licensees and others meet standards of proficiency and competency.<\/p>\n
