To date, the organization has awarded more than $1.4 million in grants to UNMC.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Funding from RPB helps support our studies with ocular stem cells to regenerate damaged retinal cells, retinal implants to restore some vision for blind patients, and studies on other ways to prevent and treat eye diseases such as macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma,&#8221;
