\nDr. Stergiou is an Isaacson Professor of Biomechanics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and at the College of Public Health at UNMC. His research focuses on human movement variability, which he investigates using techniques from biomechanics and motor control. He has received support for his research the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research, the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research from the U.S. Department of Education and multiple other sources.

\n<\/TABLE>The monthly Clinical and Translational Research (CTR) seminars resume today as Nick Stergiou, Ph.D., a biomechanist at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, presents “Nebraska Biomechanics Core Facility: Collaborative Research in Action.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Stergiou, director of UNO’s health, physical education and recreation laboratory, will begin his presentation at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.<\/p>\n

CTR seminars are held the third Monday of each month. The CTR series brings clinical and basic science investigators together to identify new ways to collaborate and answer important clinical questions. <\/p>\n

The seminar will be recorded and available for investigators who cannot attend. <\/p>\n
