The network will host an organizational meeting on Friday in Wittson Hall, Room 3042.<br \/>\n<\/FONT><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE>From an Asian tea ceremony to tango dance lessons and thoughtful discussions, UNMC&#8217;s first Diversity Lectures and Cultural Arts Series provided entertaining and educational insights into the diverse cultures and backgrounds of employees.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to continued funding from UNMC&#8217;s Human Resources Department, event planning for the 2009-2010 season is underway.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had a great response to the events in our first season and I&#8217;m excited for the upcoming year,&#8221; said Linda Cunningham, EDN president and diversity specialist in UNMC&#8217;s Human Resources Department. &#8220;However, we would love to have input from people on campus about performances and speakers that would be of interest to them.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The EDN membership is open to all faculty and staff at UNMC and welcomes those who are interested in planning the events for the next diversity series. <\/p>\n<p><TABLE border=\"0\" width=\"250\" cellspacing=\"15\" cellpadding=\"10\" align=\"right\"><br \/>\n<TR><br \/>\n<TD><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\n<font face=\"arial\"><br \/>\n<B><br \/>\n&#8220;We had a great response to the events in our first season and I&#8217;m excited for the upcoming year.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/B><br \/>\n<BR><\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">\n<font face=\"arial\" size=\"1\"><br \/>\nLinda Cunningham<br \/>\n<\/P><br \/>\n<\/FONT><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE>An organizational meeting will be Friday, Aug. 21 from noon to 1 p.m. in Wittson Hall, Room 3042.
