{"id":35303,"date":"2009-10-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-14T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2009\/10\/14\/wellness-wednesday-hra-and-wellness-benefit-information\/"},"modified":"2022-08-28T19:22:55","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T00:22:55","slug":"wellness-wednesday-hra-and-wellness-benefit-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/2009\/10\/14\/wellness-wednesday-hra-and-wellness-benefit-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Wellness Wednesday &#8211; HRA and wellness benefit information"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"panel body-content\"><div class=\"panel__container\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unmc.edu\/newsroom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/WellnessWednesday.jpg\" border=\"0\" align=\"right\" alt=\"picture disc.\">All benefits-eligible employees will soon have the opportunity to complete a Health Risk Assessment (HRA).  <\/p>\n<p>Participation is voluntary, however, by completing the short survey, employees will receive a personal health report that will help them assess and monitor their personal health status.  <\/p>\n<p>Employees who are enrolled in the university&#8217;s Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan also will receive an enhanced wellness and preventive services benefit for themselves and their family members. <\/p>\n<p><B>There is no catch!<\/B><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This program is completely voluntary and free,&#8221; said James B. Milliken, J.D., University of Nebraska President. &#8220;At the University of Nebraska, we care about you and your health is important to us. So, I hope that you&#8217;ll join me and make a personal commitment to improve your health in 2010!&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Enhanced wellness and preventive services include:<br \/>\n<UL><LI>Increased annual adult preventive care allowance from $250 to $300;<br \/>\n<LI>Increased dependent child (under age 2) preventive care allowance from $500 to $600;<br \/>\n<LI>100 percent coverage for routine preventive colonoscopy once every 10 years;<br \/>\n<LI>Beginning at age 50 (services must be provided by a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO Provider); and<br \/>\n<LI>No copay for generic prescription drugs through CVS Caremark&#8217;s mail service only.<\/UL><\/p>\n<p><B>Personal health information will remain confidential<\/B><\/p>\n<p>The university will only have access to the aggregate information obtained from the survey. <\/p>\n<p>Aggregate data from each campus will be used to create programming to serve employees&#8217;
