The council consists of two representatives each from nine professional bodies; Dr. Achutan will represent the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), where he serves on its noise committee.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have a strong interest in seeing a reduction in occupational hearing loss and am honored to serve on the CAOHC to enhance the quality of occupational hearing conservation programs,&#8221; Dr. Achutan said. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Achutan has been active in noise exposure assessment research and, while working for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, did workplace investigations of noise exposures and hearing loss around the country. He also is a member of the National Hearing Conservation Association.<\/p>\n<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"\/secure-location.php\" style=\"display: none;\" title=\"I Vr  OljxYcN
