\n<\/TABLE>Doane College biology major Anthony Bieck recently shadowed UNMC brain expert Sanjay Singh, M.D., for a day. <\/p>\n

The visit occurred after Bieck heard Dr. Singh speak at a recent Simply Science event at Doane and was enthralled by what he heard.<\/p>\n

After the presentation, Bieck asked Dr. Singh, associate professor and vice chairman for education in the UNMC Department of Neurological Sciences, if he could shadow him back at the medical center in Omaha. <\/p>\n

Last week, Dr. Singh obliged. <\/p>\n

“He tells me he wants to try and make this his future career,” Dr. Singh said of Bieck. <\/p>\n

Bieck was just one of many interested attendees Dr. Singh encountered as he made Simply Science presentations in Beatrice, Crete and Nebraska City in late February.<\/p>\n
