      \n<\/TABLE>For this reason, the OUCH Program was created several years ago to expedite the process in the case of a blood borne pathogen exposure.<\/p>\n

      Beginning Thursday, the Medical Communication Center will provide the initial response when an employee has experienced a blood borne pathogen exposure and has contacted the OUCH pager system. <\/p>\n

      With this new process, employees may still utilize the OUCH pager system at 888-OUCH (6824), direct dial 559-OUCH or report to Employee Health during clinic hours. <\/p>\n

      All initial calls will be answered 24\/7 by a medical call center customer service specialist and directed to a registered nurse to gather pertinent information and direct immediate care. <\/p>\n

      Employee Health will continue to provide follow up on all reported occupational blood borne pathogen exposures.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
