Anyone taking part in the rollout can enter a raffle for an iPod touch.<br \/>\n<\/P><br \/>\n<\/FONT><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE><br \/>\n<\/TD><br \/>\n<\/TR><br \/>\n<\/TABLE>A pilot group of physicians and residents have been testing Clinical Xpert for about two weeks prior to the wider rollout. Thomson Reuters choose The Nebraska Medical Center as the beta testing site for the release of Clinical Xpert.  <\/p>\n<p>Steven Black, M.D., clinical instructor of plastic and reconstructive surgery, has been beta testing Clinical Xpert on his iPhone for several weeks. Prior to using the iPhone he used Clinical Xpert on a Windows-based platform. He said the improved product is more intuitive than the previous version. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It makes life much easier,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The information is presented more clearly. <\/p>\n<p>The new generation of Clinical Xpert is advantageous for clinicians and patients, Dr. Black said. <\/p>\n<p>He can sync in his iPhone and immediately have the latest patient data available at his fingertips. <\/p>\n<p>He also is able to get up to speed in less time with patient consults. <\/p>\n<p>Clinical Xpert provides a seamless backup to the core hospital information system (HIS), so clinicians can continue to access their patient&#8217;s information even during periods of planned and unplanned system downtime.  <\/p>\n<p>So no matter where they are, clinicians have anytime access to their patient&#8217;s data, helping them make the most informed treatment decisions possible directly at the point of care.<\/p>\n<p>Any clinician wishing to have Clinical Xpert downloaded on their mobile device can do so during one of several rollout sessions.
