\nThose interested in holding a function in the events center should contact Metzger Grotrian at 559-5192 or lmetzgergrotrian@unmc.edu<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Requests to book an event should be made at least one week in advance of the date.

\n<\/TABLE>University departments and recognized campus organizations from all four University of Nebraska campuses can use the events center — which is on the first floor of the Sorrell Center — for seminars, meetings and other functions. <\/p>\n

The center can accommodate up to 500 people depending on the type of event. <\/p>\n

New conference room options<\/B><\/p>\n

The events center also offers three small conference rooms for meetings or presentations. <\/p>\n

The rooms may be used with or without audiovisual equipment and are available for full or half day events. Occupancy for each of the conference rooms should not exceed 50 people.<\/p>\n
